This evening, songs, stories and film clips will bring to life Géza Bereményi’s dazzling, constantly moving, unparalleled oeuvre, which it is safe to call, with the title of one of his books, a set of Legends. On the stage of Margó, we will set out from Budapest to Eldorado with the songs, lyrics and films of Bereményi, who turns 80 this year. Are we staying here or will we move on one day? We will stay because it is thanks to him, and through him, that we know which way our country lies and what it is like. This will be a real ‘mixed’ evening on Margaret Island, unique and memorable.
