In the travelling play village of Karzat Theatre, long-forgotten occupations are brought to life. In the centre, on Master Square, the shop signs keep getting mixed up, so we need some help sorting them out. The whole family must pull together, because at the end of the day, the cooper, the builder, the gingerbread maker, the bookbinder and the bargeman can’t find their houses without their signs. Helping hands are also needed in the backyards! The fruit is ripening on the trees by the fences, and the carrots, lettuce and radishes in the vegetable gardens can be harvested and stored for the winter. Some will chase the hens back in the coop, others will tidy up the pantry and some will do the cot. You can fish, draw postcards and run with them to the post office, to tell those who stayed at home about the tricks of vanishing trades.
