4 pm Rézeleje Fanfárosok
5 pm Agona Shporta
6 pm Júlia Kozáková – Manuša

The Budapest Ritmo Showcase is free to the public and the concerts on are a great showcase for emerging talent. The day will start with the fresh music of Rézeleje Fanfárosok. The delicate blend of Moldavian, Romanian and Balkan melodies evokes the dynamism of Csángó dance houses, the power of Balkan brass bands, and the soul-stirring ballads tap into the free flow of jazz. This first-rate 21st century folk music will be followed by songs from the debut album of singer, pianist and composer Agona Shporta. The title of the album, Hape Portën, refers to a typical Albanian song and to the recent period when Albanians emigrated in large numbers from their ancestral homeland. The day will be rounded off with a taster of the music of the Roma in Slovakia, courtesy of Júlia Kozáková. It is a familiar world, with the emotional, lively songs leaping from one genre to the next with light steps. Júlia Kozáková, who studies jazz singing in London, was first mentored by Ida Kelarová, who helped her to gain international experience.

These concerts of the Bartók Spring are presented by Müpa Budapest as a joint event with Hangvető.
